Rolling Natural 20s: Our Tabletop Scotland 2024 Adventure
Well, we’re still riding the sugar rush and excitement from an unforgettable weekend at Tabletop Scotland 2024! Our little family business packed up our moulds, magic, and chocolate dice, then set up shop amongst a buzzing crowd of passionate players, creators, and fellow fantasy fanatics. And let us tell you, it was an incredible experience it was.
From the moment the doors opened, we were met with curious onlookers, and those glorious moments when someone picks up a chocolate d20 and goes, “Wait, is this real?!” Yes. Yes it is. And yes, you can absolutely eat it. (Though some folks admitted they were saving theirs for a critical moment. Respect.)
But that wasn’t all. This year, we brought something new to the table—stuffed cookies. Oh yes. Chunky, gooey, chocolatey monstrosities stuffed with everything from caramel to marshmallows. We weren’t sure how they'd go down… until they completely sold out. Every last one. Poof. Gone. Some customers even came back for seconds—only to find an empty tray and a look of regret that can only be described as critical fail. Sorry guys!
It wasn’t just about selling (though that part was brilliant, no doubt about it). It was about community. About connecting with folks who love storytelling, dice rolling, and snacks as much as we do. And about sharing a little edible magic with people who get what we’re all about.
To everyone who stopped by our stall—thank you. Whether you bought a chocolate dice set, grabbed a cookie, or simply said hi, you made our weekend feel like we'd rolled a natural 20.
Already thinking about what we'll bring next year. New flavours? Bigger cookies? Secret menu items? You’ll just have to wait and see...
Until then, if you’ve got a special event coming up, perhaps a wedding, party, gifting, or anything in between, please feel free to drop us a message. We love commissions, and we’re always up for a new chocolatey quest.
Here’s to good rolls, great people, and plenty more adventures to come.
