UK Games Expo 2024: Three Days of Dice, Chocolate and Chaos (the good kind!)

Blimey, what a weekend! We’ve just about recovered from the whirlwind that was UK Games Expo 2024, and honestly, if we could bottle the energy of those three days, we’d never need coffee again.

From the second we opened our stall at the NEC, it was clear that our first ever time here was going to be something special. The crowds? Massive. The games? Incredible. The enthusiasm for all things tabletop? Through the roof. And right in the middle of it all… our stall, crammed to the brim with handmade chocolate dice, fantasy-themed bars, and a bit of sweet mischief (and that was just us!).

We saw some familiar faces that came straight to us as soon as the doors opened, already knowing exactly which dice they wanted. Others stopped mid-step, did a double take and asked, “Wait… are these edible?!” (A classic. Never gets old.)

We had a great time with our neighbour Paul and his incredible game Quizino, Which we enjoyed hearing all about!

We also took some time to check out a great game that is being developed by Harrison, Battle of Burnwood, We are keen to see this game do well as it was a blast to learn about.

We got to chat with incredible indie creators, swap stories with fellow vendors, and hear about the wild campaigns, character deaths, and natural 20s that our chocolate dice have somehow become a tiny part of. That’s the real magic.

Thank you everyone who came to see us, you best believe we’ll be back! We’re already plotting what special goodies we can cook up for next year.

Until next time… may your rolls be lucky, and your snacks be sweet.
